Short Term Outreach Spotlight

We have the privilege of sending two missions teams to two different continents this month! One of our teams is going to the Eastern Mediterranean from June 9th-18th to partner with LifeMission sent ones Dusty & Heather! The other team will be traveling to Ethiopia from June 16th-25th to come alongside several different partner ministries of LifeMission Church and assist in their various ministry initiatives. YOU can be apart of these outreaches by partnering with our teams in prayer! Please use the prayer points below to support our teams as they respond to the call to GO and bring the Kingdom of God from where it is to where it isn't!

Prayer Points - 

1. Pray that God would prepare our team’s hearts before they go and give revelation of His heart (Matthew 9:36). Unify and strengthen them (Romans 15:5-6). Protection over them (Psalm 91).

2. Pray that God would open up a door for the gospel in difficult places (Colossians 4:2-3), the word would run swiftly and be glorified (2 Thessalonians 3:1-5), and that the lost would be saved, healed, set free, and delivered.

3. Pray for divine appointments while our teams are there - that they would have opportunities to share the good news with hearts that are hungry and searching for truth. Pray that the word would fall on good soil and bear fruit (Matthew 13:23).

4. Pray that our teams would move in obedience to Holy Spirit and that they would see miracles, signs, and wonders!

Mission Monday

Join us this month on Monday, June 19th, at 7pm in the Barn at our Olathe Campus for Mission Monday! We'll see you there!

This monthly gathering is designed to develop a missional community. It is for ANYONE who has a heart for missions or is interested in growing a deeper understanding of the world, cultivating God's heart for all people, and discovering unique ways to be a part of God's Mission!

GO School of Ministry

GO School of Ministry is a full time program for young adults to cultivate a life in the Word and presence of God. GO School of Ministry provides students with training and hands-on experiences that will equip them with an understanding of the Bible and prepare them to be effective disciples in their generation.

No matter what your future holds, set aside 10 months to invest in your personal and spiritual growth to lay a foundation that will equip you for the rest of your life! Send this info to any young adult in your life who you feel might be a good fit for the program!

THE SINGLE MOM KC

PURSUIT EVENT - The Single Mom KC hosts an event called Pursuit on the first Wednesday of every month at our KCK campus. The next two events will be on June 7th and August 2nd. The volunteer opportunities range from cooking and serving the meal, greeting and helping with registration, and working with the kids. REFUGE KC

WELCOME KIT

You can help bless refugee families by gathering the "Welcome Kit" items listed and bringing them to RefugeKC or allowing them to help you deliver these donations directly to the family. You may gather an entire kit for a particular family or host a collection for a variety of items which will be distributed to multiple families. AMBASSADORS PROGRAM

Refuge KC exists to welcome our new-American neighbors with gospel-focused ministries of mercy so that they might come to know, love, and follow Jesus into His Kingdom. Ambassador teams come alongside their new-American neighbors to provide friendship, practical support, life skills, and most importantly, the hope and salvation in Jesus Christ. Teams should consist of at least 4 people with at least one male and female. To apply, click HERE!

KC DREAM CENTER

ADOPT-A-BLOCK - Saturday, June 17th, 12:30pm - 3:30pm

The Adopt-A-Block program visits select under-resourced neighborhoods every month to clean up the neighborhood, distribute food and hygiene items, and simply find a need and fill it. Click HERE!
