Dear LifeMission Family,Greetings! This month, our hearts are filled with gratitude for what the Lord did on our summer trips, and excited to see how he will work through our Fall and recently released Winter trips. The incredible passion for the nations that was sparked at the GO conference overwhelmed our Fall trips and we had to turn 10 people away. In response, we are increasing the number of trips we will be offering moving forward but I would still encourage you to apply sooner rather than later. Here is a quick reminder of the priorities we hold for all of our trips. Reaching the Lost and Building God's Kingdom
Short-term outreaches play a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission. In the limited time we spend on these trips, God can work in miraculous ways, bringing hope to the hopeless and transforming lives. Whether it's sharing the Gospel in remote villages, offering physical aid to those in need, or supporting local churches and missionaries, these outreaches break down barriers and sow seeds of faith in the hearts of people around the world. Your dedication to these endeavors allows us to reach the unreached and build bridges of love and understanding between cultures.
Blessing our Missionaries
As a church, we wholeheartedly support our long-term missionaries who have dedicated their lives to serving in foreign lands. Short-term outreaches provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen and bless these missionaries. Your visits bring encouragement, practical assistance, and a reminder that they are not alone in their calling. The friendships formed during these trips foster a sense of community and remind our missionaries that they are loved, valued, and remembered in our prayers. Your support is an essential lifeline, empowering them to continue their work with renewed enthusiasm.
Personal Transformation Through Short-Term Outreaches
When we focus on blessing others, God takes the opportunity to bless us. One of the most profound aspects of short-term outreaches is the impact they have on the lives of those who embark on these journeys. Stepping outside our comfort zones and experiencing different cultures and realities can be a life-altering encounter. These trips challenge us to see the world through a new lens, to embrace empathy and compassion, and to grow in our faith as we witness God's hand at work in the lives of others.
Through these outreaches, we discover that mission work is not limited to a select few, but that each one of us is called to be a light-bearer in this dark world. As we continue this journey of spreading the Good News and being the hands and feet of Jesus, may we remain steadfast in our commitment to short-term outreaches, knowing that we are making an eternal impact in the lives of many as we work to fulfill the Great Commission.
Please, begin praying about your part to play in our Winter outreaches. Will you go, will you send, or will you disobey?
Blessings,
Jacob Lierz
