FAQs

Will the church have any COVID-19 protocols in place (masks, social distancing, etc.)?

No.

What is the purpose of this week-long series of events?
Marriage Revival was borne out of concern for couples who split up during the pandemic without seeking help from anyone at the church. However, this event is meant for any and every couple who wants to grow and celebrate their commitment to God and each other, whether currently struggling or not.

Do the messages build on each other throughout the week? Would it be necessary to attend all five events?
No to both questions. Each night, the general format will be worship followed by a marriage talk from one of our pastors. During the Monday thru Thursday events, the speakers will all follow the same general outline but introduce their own insights and personal stories. However, Pastors Clint & Mary will present a new message on Friday night. We recommend registering for the Friday night event and attending one free event at the campus near you.

Why is there a cost of $35 for Friday night but Monday thru Thursday events are free?
The cost covers dinner for two before Friday’s talk and a very special reception afterward.

Can my spouse and I pay at the door?
Advanced payment helps us plan well for dinner. We strongly encourage couples to register and pay before the registration window closes on June 7th.

Will any of the presentations be live-streamed?
Only Monday will be available online. The pre-show is scheduled to begin at 6:50 PM via Live.LifeMission.Church. The events at the physical campuses are all in-person events only.

Who can attend these marriage events?
We suggest that anyone 18 and older attend Monday thru Thursday events, regardless of relationship status. However, we recommend that couples attending the Friday night event be married, engaged, or seriously dating. We will be celebrating couples’ commitment to godly, biblical marriage. However, no one 18 or older will be turned away.

Why is there a “date night dressy” dress code for the Friday night event?
We intend to provide a memorable evening for you and your spouse and will take lots of photographs and video. We certainly understand, though, that some may be coming directly from work or otherwise won’t have the chance to change their clothes. This should not keep anyone from attending.

Will the church provide childcare?
Our commitment to you is to keep the free events completely free. Hiring childcare workers would require us to charge for those events. Also, the event Friday night is intended to be a late night out for couples, so finding a sitter is best.
