Camp runs from Wednesday, July 22nd – Sunday, July 26th at Wheat State Retreat Center, 11105 SW 86th St, Augusta, KS 67010.
The Youth Camp Release of Liability form must be notarized and uploaded during registration. To complete this requirement, the original paper copy must be dropped in an Offering Box at your campus by June 24th. If your original copy is lost or destroyed, the process must be completed again from the beginning. Within the registration, you will read, sign, and acknowledge the LMY Camp Rules and Guidelines, and the Wheat State Camp Paintball Waiver.
Camp is open to students in 6th–12th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. All sessions and activities are held together.
Click the blue REGISTER button above. Registration closes June 24th and spots are limited.
Camp is $400 per student and includes meals, lodging, all activities, and a camp T-shirt.
Cell phones, Apple Watches, tablets, and other devices are not permitted. Please leave devices at home. Parents and leaders can exchange phone numbers at drop-off so you can receive updates throughout the week.
We have a certified camp nurse on-site 24/7. All medications must be checked in with the nurse upon arrival, and we’re prepared for emergencies with nearby hospital access.
Activities are held outside after lunch each day. Students participate in cabin competitions—whether cheering from the sideline or jumping in and participating.
Wheat State does not offer a separate menu for special dietary needs. They have options for gluten sensitivity, but for celiac/allergies they cannot guarantee no cross-contamination. A fridge, freezer, and microwave are available in the dining hall for meal supplements. Students are responsible for preparing their supplemental food and taking containers home.
Full refund available through June 24th
50% refund June 25th - July 15th
No refunds for cancellations on or after July 16th
Rain doesn’t stop the fun—bring a poncho! If the weather is severe, we’ll move to an indoor activity.
Our cabin leaders handle homesickness with care and understanding, offering extra support. For behavior issues, we follow a structured discipline policy and communicate with parents as needed. If a student does not follow guidelines, parents may be required to pick up their student at the campground. Our goal is to ensure all students have a positive experience.
Wednesday, July 22 from 11:00 AM–12:15 PM will be check-in located in the Worship Center (building off 159th Street).
Students must wear appropriate clothing at all times.

Girls

  • Modest one-piece swimsuit (if you don't already have one, you may wear a shirt or tank over a two-piece; please avoid white)
  • Modest shorts (biker shorts/leggings are fine if worn with a t-shirt that covers the backside)
  • No spaghetti straps
  • No cropped shirts
  • No shirts with inappropriate or suggestive slogans or designs

Boys

  • No low-cut sleeveless shirts
  • No cropped shirts
  • No shirts with inappropriate or suggestive slogans or designs
You can make partial payments throughout the months, but the final payment is due Wednesday, July 8 by 11:59 PM.
All waitlist entries must include an uploaded, notarized Release of Liability Waiver in order to hold a place on the waitlist.

After regular registration closes on June 24, we will determine whether additional cabin space can be opened. If space becomes available, families who requested that cabin area will be contacted in the order their waitlist entry was received.

When a spot becomes available, families will be emailed a registration link and will have 48 hours to complete their registration by:

  • uploading the notarized Release of Liability Waiver
  • selecting the available cabin spot
  • submitting the $100 deposit.

If registration is not completed within 48 hours, the spot will be released and offered to the next student on the waitlist for that cabin area.
